Original British drama, Outrageous, is a 6 part series based on the true story of The Mitford Sisters.
Set in the 1930s, the sisters were friends and rivals whose choices and viewpoints sparked debate.
Individually they were rebellious, dangerous, audious, notorious, adventurous and boisterous. And collectively, they would not be contained.
So how could we make the Mitfords - the original influencers - relevant in 2025?
THE IDEA
We commissioned six contemporary artists to capture the modern spirit of the Mitford’s. A fresh take on their gilded lives and uncaged spirits.
Working closely with the Mall Galleries and the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, we curated a collection of striking portraits.
